Please remember that these clocks are handmade. Because of this, there will be slight variations in the clock you receive. Most cuckoo clocks have a night shut-off, however if the model you choose does not, it is easy to shut off the cuckoo by removing the weight that controls it. Musical clocks usually come with two songs. In most cases the songs include "Edelweiss" and "Happy Wanderer", however this is not guaranteed. For example the clocks that have beerdrinkers might have a more festive song selection reminiscent of Oktoberfest.
 | The VDS seal is the Certificate of Authenticity of the Black Forest Association and will accompany the Black Forest clocks sold on our website with the exception of those clocks with a quarts movement. Clocks that carry this seal have to meet strict requirements set forth by the Association. All clock parts must not only be mechanical in nature, but must be produced in the proper area to be considered a true Black Forest clock. Only clock makers from the Triberg and Titisee-Neustadt areas who reach this standard of quality may add this certificate to their clocks. This is an important feature both to the collector and the single clock owner- that the clock you own will hold its value and appreciate throughout following generations. |
